FAQ’s

My experience was great (or not so…), who can I tell about it?
We welcome all feedback. Please email dean@mrgos.co.nz.

Is Mr Go’s B.Y.O?
No. We are fully licensed and offer a wide range of beverage options.

How can I buy a voucher?
Please head to our "buy a voucher" page to purchase an e-voucher. We sell physical vouchers in-store too.

I am Vegan, Vegetarian, Pescatarian, celiac, Lactose Intolerant, Gluten intolerant, Onion & Garlic Free – can I eat at Mr Go’s?
Absolutely! See the Dietary Menu on our Menu page. Gluten-free "GF" notations on our menu are recommended for gluten-intolerant guests only, please contact us if you need more clarification.

While we do all we can to accommodate guests with food intolerances and allergies, we are unable to guarantee that dishes will be completely allergen-free. We work in a kitchen using most allergens, and many of our ingredients come with 'may contain trace amounts of...' disclaimers. Coeliac guests will need to make their own determinations in this regard.

We can remove some ingredients from some dishes; however, this isn't always possible, and we are unable to cook-to-order or combine ingredients across different dishes.

Can I bring a cake, do you bake cakes for birthdays?
Yes, you can bring your own cake. We charge a $2 per head fee, to a maximum of $15 for the table. We don't bake cakes for birthdays but can recommend some great local bakeries. We can also place candles in our desserts on request for no charge.

Do you have high chairs?
Yes, we have high chairs available on a first-come basis.

Do you cater?
We no longer offer a catering service. We recommend smaller groups order takeaway or delivery.

Are you wheelchair accessible?
Yes. Please make a note on your booking so we can ensure appropriate table allocation.

Why are you called Mr Go's?
See our story.

Is Mr Go’s a chain or franchise?
No. Our Eva Street restaurant is the only Mr Go’s. We also own LTD. Event Space, Ombra and Kisa. We relocated to Eva Street from Taranaki Street.
